Contest and Social Media Promotion
Tribeca Film Festival partnered with IBM for this contest. Creators were encouraged to develop an innovative way in which they could utilize IBM Watson technology to enhance their storytelling. IBM worked with Tribeca Film Festival to develop five categories to help guide the ideation process including development, pre-production, production and post-production, audience experience and interaction, and marketing and distribution. Five finalists were selected to pitch their idea to a panel of representatives of both IBM and Tribeca Film Festival, and the grand prize winner received a trip for two to the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.
