REI held a mobile tour in six U.S. cities where attendees could enter for the chance to win an REI camping kitchen prize pack. The mobile tour was promoted on REI’s website, and consumers not near an event location could enter the sweepstakes online. To encourage foot traffic to the pop-up REI Villages, additional prizes were available to those who attended an event. This promotion helped bring awareness to the new camping wardrobe and expand their mobile community.
